Vedic Math is a unique approach and children will like it, as compared to the conventional way Math has been taught. It also induces holistic brain development through mental calculations.
Vedic Maths was introduced by Swami Bharati Krishna Tirtha, who was an Indian monk. Veda is a Sanskrit word, which means Knowledge. The format comes with a list of mental calculation techniques which are said to come from the Vedas.
As per the book of Vedic Mathematics, the curriculum consists of 16 sutras and 13 sub-sutras which can be used for questions involved in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, and conic. The sutras are the formulas which we use in mathematical calculations.
There are 3 levels in Vedic Maths:
- Elementary
- Intermediate
- Advance
