Vedic Maths was introduced by Swami Bharati Krishna Tirtha, who was an Indian monk. Veda is a Sanskrit word, which means Knowledge. The format comes with a list of mental calculation techniques which are said to come from the Vedas. As per the book of Vedic Mathematics, the curriculum consists of 16 sutras and 13 sub-sutras which can be used for questions involved in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, and conic. The sutras are the formulas which we use in mathematical calculations.

There are 3 levels in Vedic Maths:

• 1. Elementary
• 2. Intermediate
• 3. Advance
